Grilled “Cheez” with Avocado
Makes 2 sammies
4 slices bread (I used Ezekiel)
4 slices Daiya cheddar slices
1 avocado (smashed)
Heat a small frying pan on high. Spread a layer of “butterless butter” on one side of all slices of bread. When pan is hot, reduce heat to medium. Place one slice of bread, “butterless butter” side down, add 2 slices of Daiya, and half of the smashed avocado. Place second piece of bread on top, butterless butter side up. Flip when bottom is brown. Brown other side. Remove from pan. Cover with lid until Daiya melts. Repeat to make second sandwich.
